A memorial service for Hap and Jeanne Olsen, the parents of Sue Olsen,  will be Saturday April 12th at 9:30 a.m. at Horseshoe Bend Park, McCaysville, Ga. Casual attire ( no suits, no dresses )  Directions to Horseshoe Bend Park:  Interstate 575 to State 515, turn left at McDonald's in Blue Ridge, proceed to the dead end at Copperhill IGA Store and take a right at the stop sign, go past the rafting company about 1/8 of a mile and there will be a sign that says Horseshoe Bend Park  

Another great year closed for the Cherokee Photography Club with the end of the year supper and awards. The following were recognized for their consistently outstanding photographs:

Points Winner in Color Slides - Darcy Pino
Overall Points Winner (all categories combined) - Kim Bates

My Gull, a monochrome print by Kim Bates, was judged Photograph of the Year.

Bandon Beach, a color print by Eillene Kirk, was voted the People's Choice for the year.
